Quality Assurance Manager

Industrie Lemieux works mainly in the following fields: industrial, chemical, water treatment and transportation. It specializes in the manufacture of mechanically welded products.

Summary of the function:

As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for:
Manage all quality processes for each of the company's plants in accordance with the various certifications or accreditations such as ISO 9001, ASME and CWB. More specifically you will be responsible for:

ISO 9001

  • Maintain the quality manual up to date according to the processes in place and the requirements of the standard.
  • Plan and execute internal audits according to the manual.
  • Leading management meetings related to the quality system, including the Management Review
  • Ensure the preparation and conduct of the annual certification audit.
  • Manage the non-conformance process in order to improve the system.

ASME

  • Maintain the quality manual up to date according to the processes in place and the requirements of the standard.
  • Ensure the preparation and conduct of the annual certification audit (every 3 years).

CWB

  • Manage documentation related to our accreditations.
  • Prepare and conduct surveillance audits.

In addition, you may be called upon to provide production support in quality control by performing the following tasks:

  • Prepare documents related to ASME manufacturing (inspection plan, data report, etc...).
  • Plan and manage the visits of the ASME authorized inspector
  • Prepare project quality files (data books).
  • Manage non-destructive testing of projects
  • Prepare welding procedures and welder qualification documents.
  • Doing inspection in manufacturing.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a similar position
  • Experience in manufacturing and welding
  • Knowledge of the office suite: Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Be rigorous and able to work under pressure
  • Ability to work in a team

Skill Description:

  • Good ability to read plans
  • Responsible and meticulous
  • Be able to choose the right tools and do the set-up
  • Must be able to measure with precision tools
  • French spoken and written
