QUEBEC – Industrie Lemieux, a leader in stainless steel OEM production, is announcing a strategic move to consolidate its operations and expand its service offerings. Robert Mitchell, a Quebec-based steel manufacturer and a valued part of the Industrie Lemieux family since 2020, will be relocating its current location to combine facilities with the main Industrie Lemieux plant, also in Quebec.
This consolidation aims to create a more efficient and comprehensive one-stop shop for customers. By bringing together the expertise and capabilities of both teams and facilities, Industrie Lemieux will offer a more seamless experience for projects requiring both steel and stainless steel products. This move will provide customers with greater access to the company’s full range of services, from design engineering to quality control, all under one roof.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for us to better serve our customers and streamline our operations,” said Ryan Chomiuk, Vice President of Sales at Industrie Lemieux. “By integrating the Robert Mitchell team and their capabilities into our facility, we are creating a powerhouse of metal fabrication expertise. We are incredibly excited about this strategic move and the value it will bring to our customers.”
A key priority during this transition has been ensuring product integrity. Industrie Lemieux has implemented strict protocols and taken steps to guarantee no cross-contamination between stainless steel and steel products within the combined facility.
This strategic expansion builds upon the legacies of both Industrie Lemieux and Robert Mitchell. Industrie Lemieux is also the parent company of New York-based Phoenix Metal and California-based U.S. Precision.
