Assembler
We are looking for several welders for our growing company. If you want to be part of a dynamic team, you may well be the person we are looking for!
The assembler uses machines to assemble parts, made of steel or other metals, used in the manufacture of the company’s products.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assemble fabricated carbon steel and stainless steel parts of various dimensions;
- Read and interpret plans and know welding symbols;
- Check parts before assembly and welding work (Dimension, compliance with plans);
- Prepare the necessary material (measure, trace, cut, burn, clean, etc.);
- Plan the assembly sequence of parts;
- Adjust, assemble and immobilize parts using bolts, clamps, spot welding or other methods;
- Verify compliance with plans or welding instructions;
- Make corrections if necessary;
- Perform any other related tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor;
- Apply occupational Health and Safety rules.
Desired Skills Profile:
- Diploma of vocational studies in welding or equivalent experience;
- More than 1 year of experience in the field of assembly;
- Experience in the field of pressure vessels would be an asset.

Our needs are for the day shift from Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm and the evening shift, Monday to Thursday from 3:30 pm to 1:30 am (10hrs) with a premium of $2.00/hrs.
Salary: $22.98 to $25.49 per hour
