JOB DESCRIPTION :

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Senior Project Manager plays a key role in executing major manufacturing projects. This individual is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling various projects within budget and schedule constraints, while maintaining relationships of trust with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, manage, and follow up on plans, specifications, addenda, calls for tenders, and contracts
• Coordinate drafting and project launch
• Ensure the planning and tracking of schedules, as well as the human and material resources required for project execution
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, professionals, clients, and suppliers to ensure project success and stakeholder satisfaction
• Perform administrative and technical follow-ups on projects, including managing change orders
• Actively participate in the continuous improvement of project management processes
• Perform any other related tasks associated with the position.

EXIGENCES :

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Mechanical Engineering, or any other relevant training;
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role;
• Excellent ability to read and interpret technical drawings;
• Good proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite;
• Bilingualism (French and English);
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;
• Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
