FUNCTION SUMMARY :
The CNC programmer is responsible for creating, optimizing and putting into production machining programs for CNC centers. He works closely with the production, engineering and quality teams to ensure efficient, accurate manufacturing that meets requirements.
- Program parts using software such as Mastercam and CamPlus
- Interpret technical drawings, plans and tolerances
- Develop and optimize machining strategies (3-, 4- and 5-axis milling, depending on equipment)
- Select appropriate cutting tools, cutting parameters and machining methods
- Simulate programs to prevent collisions and errors
- Support CNC operators during production start-ups
- Participate in continuous improvement (cycle time reduction, cost optimization)
- Ensure conformity of parts to quality standards
- Document processes and keep technical files up to date
- Collaborate with engineering team for manufacturable design

REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in steel, stainless steel and aluminium products
- Knowledge of Office suite: Excel, Word, Outlook
