Senior Estimator
Industrie Lemieux operates mainly in the industrial, chemical, water treatment and transportation sectors. It specializes in the manufacture of mechanically welded products.
FUNCTION SUMMARY :
As a Senior Estimator, in collaboration with the VP Projects and Engineering and the Sales Department, you will be required to :
- Evaluate the content of customer quotation requests and involve engineering when necessary.
- Prepare bills of materials for equipment to be valued
- Work closely with the purchasing department to obtain material prices.
- Define the hours required for factory production
- Identify and quantify operations to be carried out by subcontractors
- Prepare a technical proposal document and forward it to the project manager.
- Prepare contract review document for projects obtained
- Participate in project start-up meetings
- Keep estimate tracking tools up to date.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position
- Good plan reading
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Knowledge of Autocad software
- Written communication skills, French and English
- Knowledge of welding and machining is an asset.
